How does it work?
The Novaerus portable units use a low energy patented plasma that is highly destructive to the microorganisms entering the field. The plasma produces no harmful byproducts and requires no maintenance, making it safe for room inhabitants.
The plasma technology works twenty-four hours a day to reduce airborne viruses, bacteria, pathogens, mold, allergens and odors, all while using less energy than a 40 watt bulb.

Understanding the power of plasma
Often described as the ‘fourth state of matter’ plasma is defined as an energized gas with an equal number of positively and negatively charged particles.
Plasma sterilization was introduced in Europe in the ’90s. The original method involved the ionization of hydrogen peroxide in a vacuum. However, cold plasma generated by plasma coils allows for the same antimicrobial effect at much shorter exposure times and without a vacuum.
